Management of forest area land is a concern for community cultural values, aspirations, and involvement of local forest area communities in managing forest land with the existence of Community Based Forest Management(CBFM). In an effort to make it easier to collect data, currently, the management of forest land management data at Perum Perhutani KPH (KPH is the smallest unit of the forest management system at the site level) Tenggarong, especially in the Community Based Forest Management (CBFM) section, is still done manually by writing in a ledger. With the aim that Perum Perhutani KPH(is the smallest unit of the forest management system at the site level) Tenggarong, especially the Community Based Forest Management (CBFM) section, can use web-based application technology to be able to collect data more efficiently in terms of time and cost and print reports. The methodology of making this research uses the Waterfall methodology which consists of needs analysis, system design, program code writing, system testing, and application implementation and maintenance. The programming language used is PHP with a database using MySQL. This research develop a web-based forest area land management information system, that can facilitate and assist in recording and reporting “Pesanggem” (forest cultivator) data carried out by Community Based Forest Management(CBFM) expert staff at Perum Perhutani KPH (which is the smallest unit of the forest management system at the site level) Tenggarong.

The impact of technology must be addressed by the educational methods themselves and their perspectives in the new paradigm of citizenship in this intelligent environment. Learning environments have changed dramatically in the last 50 years, in large part due to information and communications technologies. The study uses a qualitative descriptive. Thomas S. Kuhn, fully Thomas Samuel Kuhn, (born 18 July 1922 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA-17 June 1996 in Cambridge, Massachusetts), best known for The Structure of the Scientific. Kuhn explains that in every scientific discipline, there are some identified and natural phenomena that are then investigated experimentally and explained theoretically. Pre-paradigm as the basis of normal science, the formation of smart learning is started when primitive cave. Normal science for learning is a traditional teaching method, teaching takes place within the four walls of a classroom. Anomalies are surprising discoveries that cannot be defined through a paradigm, together with discoveries of troubles that cannot be solved through a paradigm. The lock down following the COVID-19 pandemic has made us extrude in a single day from mastering withinside the bodily international to mastering withinside the virtual one. Model crises are the third phase of the Kuhn cycle. Triggering the Model Crisis movement Blended learning can be the brand new normal – “Blended learning”. The smart learning cognizance and traits has emerged as a brand-new fashion withinside the international academic field. different smart technologies, consisting of cloud computing, learning analytics, huge information, Internet of things (IoT) and wearable generation.

Android Based Forest Fire Monitoring System

By Reza Andrea Ade Irma Wahyunic Nur Fadila Safitri Supryani

DOI: https://doi.org/10.5815/ijieeb.2022.03.01, Pub. Date: 8 Jun. 2022

Forest fires are burning areas of forest or land in large or small areas. Forest fires are often uncontrollable and when this happens, the fire will burn anything nearby for two reasons, one of which is burning naturally or burning caused by humans. One of the man-made fires deliberate by humans is the burning used by the community around the forest to open or clear agricultural or plantation land. The community feels that clearing land with fire does not require a long time and is more economical, if the use of fire is not used properly it can cause the forest to burn. Forest fires in Riau area are still classified as minimal or fires rarely occur. However, the community is at least aware of the forest fires in Riau due to a lack of media information about where the fire hotspots occurred. With this application, it can help the public to better know where the hotspots have been burned. This application consists of 2 levels of access, namely: admin and user. For admins and users, the manufacturing process uses the Android Studio application with Java as the programming language, this application uses Firebase as its database to find out the location of fire hotspots using the Google Maps API. Testing on the application is created to test whether the application has run as desired. Test results using white box testing method.

Face Recognition Using Histogram of Oriented Gradients with TensorFlow in Surveillance Camera on Raspberry Pi

By Reza Andrea Nurul Ikhsan Zulkarnain Sudirman

DOI: https://doi.org/10.5815/ijieeb.2022.01.05, Pub. Date: 8 Feb. 2022

The implementation of face recognition with TensorFlow deep learning uses the webcam as a surveillance camera on the Raspberry Pi, aiming to provide a sense of security to the requiring party. A frequent surveillance camera problem is that crimes are performed at certain hours, the absence of early warning features, and there is no application of facial recognition on surveillance cameras. The function of this system is to perform facial recognition on every face captured by the webcam. Use the Histogram of the Oriented Gradient (HOG) method for the extraction process of deep learning. The image that is input from the camera will undergo a gray scaling process, then it will be taken the extraction value and classified by deep learning framework with TensorFlow. The system will send notifications when faces are not recognized. Based on the analysis of the data is done, the conclusion that the implementation of face recognition is built on the Raspberry Pi using a Python programming language with the help of TensorFlow so that the training process of the sample is much faster and more accurate. It uses a Graphical User Interface (GUI) as the main display and is built using Python designer, using email as an initial warning delivery medium to the user as well as using the webcam as the main camera to capture image.

By Reza Andrea Sefty Wijayanti Nursobah

DOI: https://doi.org/10.5815/ijieeb.2021.04.05, Pub. Date: 8 Aug. 2021

Game is one of the big industries today and can be an alternative entertainment and fun for children and adults. Game can be used as an interactive and interesting learning media. One of the platform game development methods is the Finite State Machine (FSM). This method is used to adjust the behavior of the NPC (Non-Player Character) to guide the player through the game. This study developed an Android-based "Jungle Adventure" game with interesting gameplay to make the learning process very enjoyable so that the player is expected to be able to play while learning. Combination NPC with FSM will make that responses under certain conditions, and NPC will accompany player like a friend survival.

Development of “Explores the Tenggarong City” Using Autonomous Response of Adaptive NPC

By Reza Andrea Azahari

DOI: https://doi.org/10.5815/ijmecs.2021.01.04, Pub. Date: 8 Feb. 2021

The game is one of the big industries today and can be an alternative entertainment to spend holidays and free time and become a very fun activity for children and adults. The game can also be used as an interactive and attractive promotional media with the theme of traveling. One of the development methods that can support the game platform is Finite State Machine. This method is used to regulate the behavior of Non-Player Character (NPC) in order to guide players to complete the game. The results of the study showed that "Explores The Tenggarong City" game is based on Android, has an interesting gameplay and makes the process of knowledge about destination very enjoyable so that players are expected to know information about the destination in Tenggarong City. This research contributes to the development of NPC and FSM in promotional games.

Client Server iOS in Player versus Player (PVP) of “Borneo Snap”

By Reza Andrea Tommy Bustomi Muhammad Muhsan

DOI: https://doi.org/10.5815/ijieeb.2021.01.03, Pub. Date: 8 Feb. 2021

Borneo Snap is a Kalimantan’s animals snap card game. Play proceeds with the players taking it in turns to remove a card from the top of their deck and place it face-up on a central pile. If two cards placed consecutively on the pile are identical (same picture) then the first player to shout "Snap!"will get all of it. This game is built for the iOS platform. Game Player Versus Player (PVP) Borneo Snap using peer-to-peer API from Game Kit (XCode Framework) and Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, but actually, Borneo Snap uses client-server architecture model, each player in a player versus player game session only can communicate with server intermediaries. If the player sends data updates when playing cards to other players, this data update will first be through the server, then forwarded to all other players. The result of this research, with client-server framework Borneo Snap can be played by more than 1 player and more iOS gadget too
